Thank you for your interest in volunteering with EquiVenture Therapeutic Riding!

We provide therapeutic riding classes weekly from May through September and there are special events throughout the summer such as the fair, various demos, and horse shows.  Classes vary from 20 to 45 minutes in length and there are up to 5 riders in a class.  The average volunteer commitment is 4 hours per week.

Training info

Thursdays set-up is usually 1 hour before the riders get started.  On Thursdays set up is at 3:00 pm and classes start at 4:00pm.  We put away the horses and feed around 7:45-8:00 pm.   Setup includes getting the horses in the barn, grooming, saddling and various other duties.

Training is conducted in May at EquiVenture.  Please contact us at: bonnieflynn1@aol.com for exact dates. The training sessions are held in the activity room and then we will move to the barn arena for hands on demonstrations.
