Meet Our Volunteers
No public agency today can possibly afford to pay all the personnel needed in their operations and EquiVenture Therapeutic Riding is no exception. But we are an exception in that we are one of the only programs of its kind that does not charge a fee to its clients. And we accomplish this entirely by a staff of dedicated volunteers. We could not operate without them! Since 1993, thousands of volunteer hours have been given to EquiVenture and what to the volunteers to receive in return? One volunteer answered it for all when she turned to one of the instructors and said "Your thanks are certainly appreciated, but to see the riders having fun and smiling is thanks enough for me!"
